Fresh off its recent e-launching in South East Asian markets, the all new Michelin Agilis 3 commercial van and light truck tyre continues to impress with its outstanding ability to optimize safety, mileage and fuel efficiency from the first kilometre until the last.

The new Agilis 3 is the latest light commercial vehicle tyre from Michelin that offers people and goods transport operators with class-leading mobility solutions that adapt to urban driving and road conditions throughout their working life.   

 

 

1. Wet Road Safety
   The Michelin Agilis 3 features U-shape grooves that are more ‘vertical’ which increases void ratio by 2mm for greater water clearance while full depth sipes enable tread block flexibility for better wet grip both when new and when worn.
   
   Compared to competitors in external tests, the new Agilis 3 scored up to 5% shorter wet braking when new and up to 11% shorter wet braking when worn. 
    
2. Better Fuel Efficiency
   The Michelin Agilis 3’s stone ejectors with horizontal bars in the tread groove prevents stone trapping to cut down time while under tread reduces fuel costs by keeping operating temperature cooler.
   
   Compared to competitors in external tests, the new Agilis 3 scored 12% superior rolling resistance, 90ml/100km less fuel consumption and 228g/100km less CO2 emission.
    
3. Longer Tyre Mileage
   The Michelin Agilis 3 features abrasion-resistant sidewall shields for kerbing protection without compromising casing flexibility while innovative polymer generates higher density of silica and carbon black materials for improved wet grip, fuel savings and mileage.
   
   Based on internal tests, the new Agilis 3 scored 25% more mileage compared to the previous generation.
